I've celebrated off-the-shoulder tops, one-shoulder tops, spaghetti strap tops, polonecks, Peter Pan collar blouses - all through a range of years with a range of different personalities. I celebrated the tie back halter top this summer - if that's what we're calling it.
*Wow, good job, Dani. You're still catching up on summer posts.*
Bought at Camden Market, worn in Delray Beach - this top with summer is like a match made in heaven. The top really scores no practicality points but earns top marks when it comes to sparkle, pinkness and how-summery-can-I-feel. I attempted to experiment with the top's flexibility by wearing it on a daytrip to Miami (read: a day eating pizza and drinking giant-sized mocktails, and wrestling with the ties hourly as I went in and out of the sea). Though the twisted straps proved to be wet skin's worst enemy; is it even possible to fit any more summer in one top? The white cotton skorts are fun too, methinks.
